NLR AMS-500 2 Stage Boost Controller

 



See information below AMS-500 description for my gear position sensor modification that can be used to trigger your stages of boost on the AMS-500.  It can be easily setup to trigger the 1st stage of boost in 1st gear, and the 2nd ramped stage of boost starting in 2nd gear.  This will allow you to launch out of the hole on low boost and immediately begin building boost all the way down the track from 2nd gear on.

AMS-500 Gear Based Activation
This modified Gear Position Sensor serves as a TRE (for de-restriction) and will allow you to trigger your 2 stages of boost based on gear position.  I recommend 1st gear for the 1st stage of boost and 2nd-6th gear for the second stage of boost (the ramped stage).  This will allow you to begin building your 2nd stage of ramped boost all the way down the track helping you put the power to the ground every pass!
