De-Restriction The stock Hayabusa / GSXR600/750/1000 gear position sensors after 2001 are used to restrict them to 186 mph by bringing the rev-limiter in early in 6th gear only. By having your GPS modified, 6th gear will no longer be limited.
I can modify your sensor so that it outputs the same as stock with the exception of 6th gear becomes 5th gear. The sensor now reads 1-2-3-4-5-5. This allows stock ignition timing in the lower gears and still allows you to go past the governor in 6th gear. The TRE does something similar but it sends a constant 5th gear signal to the ECM. It de-restricts the bike but uses ignition and fueling values for 5th gear at all times. Some like this performance, others do not. The GPS MOD is for those who do want to keep stock ignition / fuel tables in the lower gears but not be limited in 6th gear.
Outputs for Boost, Nitrous, Gear
Indicator GPS sensors can also be modified to provide
ground outputs for each gear for boost controllers you may already have, or
ground outputs for staged nitrous control, or can be used to ground LEDS for
